Yes, my old laptop is running on Windows 10 and it can print to my old printer. Why stop using the printer when it still works great. Do your instructions allow me to copy the driver from my old laptop to my new one? Also my wife's table also runs Windows 10 and can print to it. I have it set up as a network printer using D-Link ethernet Print Server DP-301P+ but it still has to have print drivers for this printer.

HP help site does not have driver that will work with Windows 10. Microsoft provided the driver on my old laptop and I need to find a way to get a copy of it onto my new laptop. 2020-11-23T03:20:20+00:00 Hi JP. I'm Greg, an eleven years awarded MVP, Volunteer Moderator, and Independent Advisor here to help you until this is resolved.
The printer is really too old to run recent versions of WIndows 10. The last driver offered on HP site here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservic... is for XP which is 20 years old (200 in computer years).
Was your previous PC that ran it Windows 10? If so you could copy out and try browsing into C:/windows/system32/drivers in Device Manager > Printer > Driver Tab > Update driver > Browse to see if it will still pick up the driver.

I hope this helps. Based on what you report back I can answer any questions and may have other steps to perform. If you'll wait to rate whether my post resolved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

2020-11-23T04:27:26+00:00 I'm all about keeping older hardware running as long as it can, and have helped many with my Clean Install tutorials keep older PC's running fast 7-10 years at most - any longer is not worth the trouble in my experience.
Yes, the method I gave may pick up the old printer driver from the location specified if it will run on the latest Windows 10 version your new PC likely has. All of the drivers are in the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers file you can copy over to the new PC to browse into to pick up the driver from Device Manager > Printer > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse
You may also browse to the location given on the old PC in Device Manager > Printer > Driver tab > Driver details which is almost always in System32.
