I have just bought the above keyboard and when I started to type anything it will not type what I am trying to type and it will type letters that do not make sense such as krodgnjpokdk. I have looked at the properties for the keyboard and it is saying that the keyboard is working properly.

Can you help me resolve this issue please

I tried all that you have advised me to do but unfortunately the keyboard is not working properly. The driver is the current one and I have run the troubleshooter which did not find anything wrong. I am confused as to why this keyboard is not working as I have installed previous ones and they have been ok

Hello, Garooba I'm an independent advisor and I will try to help you today.

According to what you mention, I suggest you uninstall the keyboard driver:

    1. Press Windows keys + x
    2. Select device manager
    3. From the list select your device
    4. Right click on it
    5. Select uninstall device
    6. Wait for me to do the process, reboot and test if it worked.

If it doesn't work, change the keyboard port and see how it works.

Even if the problem persists, install updates the driver:

    1. Press Windows keys + x
    2. Select device manager
    3. From the list select your device
    4. Right click on it and select update driver
    5. Then Search for device driver

Wait for me to do the process, reboot and test if it worked.

    And run the troubleshooter:

    1. Press Windows keys + I
    2. Select Update & Security.
    3. Go to the Troubleshooter option.
    4. Click Additional Troubleshooters.
    5. Click keyboard
    6. Run the troubleshooter.

Wait for it to scan, fix some bugs, and then reboot.
