Like the title says, I can't set Chrome as my browser. When I go to default apps, Chrome doesn't appear as an option under the browser category. It's also not in the Microsoft app store. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. Still nothing. I've seen threads on this issue with solutions, but as those threads are usually from 3-5 years ago, the solutions no longer work.

. 4 Click the option to set Google Chrome as the default browser in the default browser section.
Note: If the button doesn't appear, Google Chrome is already your default browser.
Best regards,

Open Settings (after hitting the icon with the three stripes in the upper right) and select Set Google Chrome as the default browser (at the end).
Another option is to go to Windows 10 Settings> System> Default applications. Under Web Browser, click on the current browser and then select Chrome from the floating window that appears. You can do the same for Email if you wish.
Also, you have the option to go to Control Panel> Programs> Default programs> Set default programs. Once there, search for Chrome, click on it and select Set this program as default.
As I already mentioned, trying to set it as the default browser in Chrome just opens the default apps in settings. And as I said in the post, Chrome doesn't appear as an option under Web Browser. Going through Control Panel also opens default apps in the settings.
