Do I need Webroot SecureAnywhere if I using Windows Defender for security ?

    No, you do not need Webroot, if you are using the Windows Security System, including Defender, you are fully protected and you can safely uninstall Webroot from your PC . . .

    No, you don't 'need' a 3rd party security product...

    Whether you want to use inbuilt Microsoft Defender or want to install another AV depends on your own preferences and habits.

    Personally, I prefer a third party product.

    No matter which AV you use, there might be situations in which you want to use other Anti-Malware programs for occasional, on-demand scans.
