Hello Peeps,

I've been getting this message, whenever I try to save a picture from the internet:

"Install Failed. Please contact your software vendor"

The pictures get saved, but when I try to open then, the whole system freezes.

Please help.

Ok i see, i think you may need to run a repair on the photos app:

Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Or just click the shortcut link at the bottom of this article.

    Select the Photos app.

Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available or doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Would you be able to take a screenshot of the error so we can see where the origin of this is?

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

    Thank you, Elise.

It worked with the reset option, so now I can open the old photos.

But I started getting this message now, when I try to save a new photo.
