I have a MSI GF63 9SC, Recently it has been acting a little weirdly. Since like a month or so whenever i switch on the laptop, the battery would drop straight to 0, but if it is powered in while switching on, everything would be normal. Also when i tried to update it, the battery dropped to zero instantly. When i did the battery calibration, the dropping part of it was like 5 or 10 min. The battery backup is still perfectly ok, with something around 5-6 hrs. So it can't be a battery problem. I did uncheck fast startup (caz i saw it in a similar query). Also it charge fast when its battery dropped down to 0. Tried doing every trouble shooting, i could. HELP PLEASE!!

Hey Carlo,
I updated to windows version of 20H2 today only. So there are no updates available as of now. I have put my laptop on hibernate now. I'll see in 2-3 hrs, if the battery is dropped down to 0 or not, and let you know. Honestly if it works, I don't have any problem putting my laptop on hibernate everyday.
Thanks
Good Day Sumit,
if does not offer you to keep your files and apps , please try to check for updates first and install any updates available. Don't proceed with the media creation , it will wipe the system files and apps
Check for updates first.
-Press Windows key + X
-Go to Settings
-Click Update and Security
-Check for Updates and Install any updates available.
Once the updates are installed , restart your device and check if issue persist.
I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

Hey Carlo,
Thanks for replying me. But i did the first option, you suggested. Unfortunately it didn't work. My laptop still having the same problem. About the second option you suggested, i did install it. But it didn't ask me to "keep my personal files and apps" and it started downloading windows 10. So i had to cancel it at this moment caz I don't know how will things go after that. Do you have anything else to suggest? please help me out.
Another thing i'd like to add, if i put my laptop on sleep, the battery would drop by 4-5% only, which is why i think, the problem is related to software.
If you're still the suggesting the second option of MediCreationTool, let me know of its effects and if my personal data in drive:C will get effected, or i have to reinstall EVERYTHING which is on C.
Thanks
