Lock screen going to sleep after only 1 minute

Hello, I was wondering how to change this. I want it to wait longer to put my computer to sleep then just one minute during my lock screen. I have tried going through advanced power options -> Display -> Console Lock Display Off Timeout, But that last directory does not appear for me. The only option I have under Display is 'Turn display off after', and it just seems to reflect the logged in setting. I have also Searched everywhere in screen saver settings and I can not find anything that pertains to the lock screen.

Hello, I was wondering how to change this. I want it to wait longer to put my computer to sleep then just one minute during my lock screen. First you have to tweak the following registry key:

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\7516b95f-f776-4464-8c53-06167f40cc99\8EC4B3A5-6868-48c2-BE75-4F3044BE88A7

Change Attributes value from 1 to 2.

after which the option will show up in the power options:

    Modify to your hearts contents....

Yeah I have been there, and the option is set to 15 minutes, so I don't think that changes lock screen sleep time at all.

Unfortunately when I go there it doesn't mention lock screen  time out. It just says what I assume is the general screen time out for when I am logged in, which is 15 minutes. So my screen shutting off after only one minute during lock screen doesn't seem to reflect that option.

Instead of  going into advanced powerr options, go to control panel, system and security, power options, then click "edit plan settings"  next to the selected plan. There you can manage when it goes to sleep.

Hello DallasHarrington1, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Luiz Cruz, an independent consultant and I would be happy to help you.

I understand that you want to increase the Windows 10 lock screen timeout.

I recommend you go to: "Start menu> Settings> Personalization> Lock screen.

In "Lock screen" scroll down until you find "Screen timeout settings".

On this screen you can set the desired time for the lock screen.

If that's not your question, post again and I'll be happy to help.

I hope I helped, even more!
