  1. It was running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.
  2. You upgraded it to Windows 7 64bit.

Ultimate?

  1. As it was an Acer with Windows 7 32bit preinstalled, you can't change the "bit" architecture.

It came with 32bit; you were stuck with 32bit.

Key Finder programs won't find a useable product key to reinstall/activate; you need the product key on the missing COA sticker.

The COA sticker is either on the underside of the Laptop or in the Battery Compartment.

With a Desktop it is either on the side, rear or top of the Computer Case.

Your activation error code:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/get-help-with-windows-activation-errors-09d8fb64-6768-4815-0c30-159fa7d89d85

Applies to 7, 8.1 and 10.

0xC004E003 You might see this error after installing third-party software that changed system files. Windows activation needs certain system files to complete activation. You can try to restore the system files back to an earlier point in time. This removes any software<br> you installed after that point in time without affecting your personal files.
