Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard - License - 2 Core Volume - Microsoft Open License - Single Language - PC

Mfr #: 9EM-00653

Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard - License - 16 Core Volume - Microsoft Open License - Single Language - PC

Mfr #: 9EM-00652

What is the difference between the two above?

If the cores are about the System and not the users, please how do I know the one to use for Lenovo ThinkSystem ST50 Tower Server Xeon E-2124G 3.4GHz 8 GB 7Y49A013NA?

    Thanks, @DaveM121 for your response.

I understand from the solution you provided that I will be needing 8 of the 2 core pack or one of the 16 core pack...

Please if there is anything I need to know kindly share..

    I appreciate your answer.

    Hi Aloaye

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

Some Windows Server 2019 licenses are sold on a per-core basis, with cores referring to physical processor cores on your PC, that is explained in the PDF document below
