Windows update caused pinnacle dazzle to not work properly

I have been using the pinnacle dazzle connection to download from the TV DVR. It was working perfectly. After an automatic update for windows 10, the dazzle connection stopped working. The video and audio capture continually skips and several frames are dropped every second or so. Obviously something changed to the windows 10 configuration. The technical support at pinnacle is clueless. Can anyone help me figure out what happened to the windows configuration to cause this problem?

Thanks

I have 3 machines gone down with the same issue. And I used these machines to make money from. I have tried a lot of things. Another Drive, Capturing to a separate Drive, Reinstalling Windows 10 on one machine, changing memory but nothing seems to fix it. I have on other machine I removed updates but nothing.

Someone out there hopefully knows what has change...

Sorry to hear this!  We use a Dazzle to stream an eagle webcam via Wirecast, and the audio is atrocious, the video is also very flickery.   Time to look into something other than a Dazzle, I think.

I'm thinking it is USB related also. Even not trying to capture, just viewing the video through the capture screen, you can hear the audio fluttering. Now I have 4 machines down with the same issue. Wrong time of year to have this happen when I really need them! :(  Hopefully someone can help us.

it seems that the issue has to be in the drivers for the usb drive. On one machine I have stopped automatic updates and so far everything is fine but when I hook up the dazzle to a machine that has had an update, I run into problems on two other machines. I am going to talk to a so-called expert in a few days and if I find out anything I will let you know.
