I want to download the HBO Max app on my older HP laptop, but the app is not available on the list.  Is there a way I can get it? I currently use Google Chrome and Windows 8.  Thx,

Windows 8 is no longer supported.

You were supposed to upgrade to 8.1 got free.

At the Google link you were given is this (Android is used on Smartphones, not Windows):

    Requires Android

    5.0 and up

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Now if we look at the Microsoft Store it is only available for Xbox One.

I actually am using Windows 8.1

Makes no difference to my reply.

You have to read the system requirements of any App you want to install.

    Attention @Forgivey

The moderator answer is correct : I skip that detail, these apps

on "Google Store" are developed to be used on Android

phones and not in desktops-Laptops : Also requisites

of have : Xbox One + X64 :  installed. So to

the OP take note of this and follow the

instructions : Thanks for the Tips
