My Mp4 files stop displaying the image.

• The two files are Mp4 flies. They don't display the thumbnails but show the icon instead. I tried look at all the appropriate settings. Hopes this helps. thank you.

I suggest that you try to perform a Repair Upgrade. It can repair problems such as corrupt Windows settings, Windows Update issues, registry entries, and corrupt system files.

Hi Paul. Yes, I did go through all of those settings a few times to make sure. I also made sure win 10 had all the recently updates. Also, looked at the advance file explorer options.  Tried different players. All with no luck.

Btw I really  appreciate you working on this issue to help me.

Did you already go to Folder Options? If not, please try it.

=> Open the folder

=> Click on the View tab.

=> Click Options to open Folder Options.

=> Click on the View tab.

=> Make sure to remove the checkmark for the Always show icons, never thumbnails option.

=> Click Apply.

=> Click OK to complete the task.
