VCRUNTIME140_1.dll missing

I'm trying to open some apps (Melodyne and Adobe Animate), but everytime I try, it says 'The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.' I've looked online, and tried everything I could find, but the error still shows up. I've noticed it's only been showing up after I accidentally got a trojan, and it's been showing up ever since. If anyone can give me some tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Please try to download and install the x86 and x64 versions of the multi-installer Visual C++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributables. Restart your PC after the installation. Note: Don't install the ARM64

    Thank you, John.

To answer your first question, the last time that they worked properly was sometime early-to-mid November.

And to answer your second consern, I've tried reinstalling the drivers and now I can open the apps. Thanks, this really helped!

I have this same problem. I have tried reinstalling the executables from the Microsoft site (both the x86 and the 64 bit) and each time I still had the issue. I'm not running an arm machine so I didn't even try that. Please help!
