Windows 10 Double Login problem still not solved

I'm getting the double login problem since the last WIndows 10 update. I've never had this problem before.

This is a known problem thats been around for some time (since 2017 approx, it seems), but the previous fix (see https://www.kapilarya.com/fix-need-to-sign-in-twice-on-windows-10-fall-creators-update) does not work for me now. I'm still being asked to login twice, even though the sign-in option mentioned in the fix is turned off as indicated. I've never had this problem with earlier versions of Win 10, only since the recent update.

Any ideas?

I'm using:

Windows 10 Home

Version 2004

Installed on 27-Aug-20

OS Build 19041.630

64-bit x64

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Windows Hello, lock screen and sign-in

Good Day Milesago,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the steps you can try.

Check and download the update.

-Press Windows Key + X

-Go to Settings

-Click Update and Security

-Check for updates and install any available updates, check if the 20H2 is already available in your device.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

With Warm Regards,

Carlo T.
