OneDrive Logs

Hello!

I am not an IT expert so I am seeking help on how to find out when OneDrive was installed in a company-owned laptop. Is there a sort of logs where I can see all activities related to OneDrive, i.e. when it was installed, when the desktop was linked to OneDrive for file backup, and the like.

Thank you.

    Hi Jay,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

Onedrive comes default with Windows unless you used an ISO to install that had it removed.

Some of the logs are here:

    C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\logs

Yes, Jay. You need to manually sign into Onedrive once to sync stuff over.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for your prompt response. Here's an additional question: Given that OneDrive comes default with Windows, does it need manual configuration to set up desktop sync (user is a local account, not associated with a Microsoft account)?
