Wired and Wireless Mice going to a projector and desktop

I have a desktop that can display one thing on the monitor and another on a projector screen.  I purchased a wireless mouse and keyboard for the projector to use during my lessons.  Is it possible to have the wireless mouse and keyboard work on the projector and the wired mouse and keyboard to work on the desktop simultaneously?

    Hi, Shawna1972!

My name is Caio. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

Let me try to understand your question a bit better: you have 2 mouses and keyboards and you want to be able to use them, one at a time, to control things on your Windows?

If that's what you asked, yes it's possible. Just make sure the wired mouse is on a flat surface so it won't move the cursor accidentaly while you're using the wireless one.

But if you want to control two different things simultaneously you'll need a third party solution.

I hope this helps you! Please let me know if I can assist you more.

    Best regards,

    Caio G.
