"A current driver on your PC may be better than the driver we're trying to install. We'll keep trying to install."

I see this has been an ongoing issue over the last three years. That I'm as the next customer in line for endless hours of "repeated' research.

Do you plan to resolve this issue?

Thank you for the update, the step you shared didn't fix the issue but it simply hide the update and it is more like workaround than solution. Since you send feedback, Windows team will investigate and fix the issue and note that the error won't prevent you from downloading and installing new updates.

I did such yesterday and had not heard reply.

Any success with a simple research of my question as I mentioned earlier?

    I have resolved it.

Spent over $500 on a new comp. Windows had issue within 4 days. Spent 3 days dealing with MS for no answer. Took 2 hrs to resolve the issue my self.

I knew this would be the result, but wanted MS to address it & they didn't. I've spent 18 yrs resolving MS issues.

I do not work for MS.... Microsoft is supposed to work for me.

I am feed up with your neglect of service and product.

You might not get direct feedback but Windows team will review and investigate all issues.

That is why I mentioned to report it, so Windows team will check what went wrong. You normally see this message in case you have higher version of driver in your PC compare to the one in Windows Update and those drivers normally send by manufacturer and might be older but more stable version.

Only thing I'm installing are updates..

You can find the history of the question by entering it in a simple google search.

     The question itself is rhetorical.

If the driver on my PC better... Then why is there an issue?
