Going back to windows 7

Hello, wondering can anyone tell me how to go back to windows 7, my laptop is 10 years old and its has updated to 10 and I want to go back, any help would be appreciated.

    I'm Anwille, an Independent Advisor.

    If it has not yet been 31 days since you last upgraded, you can roll back through these steps:

    Simply open the Start menu and head to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. If you’re eligible to downgrade, you’ll see an option that says “Go back to Windows 7” or “Go back to Windows 8.1,” depending on which operating system you upgraded from. Simply click the Get started button and follow through the process.

    I see. If this is the case, the only way is to uninstall Windows 10 and reinstall Windows 7. I suggest to create a back up first of your important files then go through these steps:

    Hi Anwille thanks for your prompt reply, I think its been way over 31 days it was my sons lap and had updated before I got it in dec 2020 and I have already been into recovery and it dosent have the go back to windows 7 option, anything else i can do?
