The "Photos" app with Windows 10 on this computer has frequently installed thousands of images in the "Photos" app. How do I stop that? How can I uninstall all the images on any single date? Can this problem be fixed, or is it better to uninstall the app?

    Hi edokie,

Good day! This is Jhakesong an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to assist you with this.

Photos App might be automatically linked to your Pictures folder that is why when there are images saved in Pictures, it adds it to the app automatically. To stop this:

    1. Launch Photos
    2. Click on the 3 dots, Go to settings
    3. Under Sources, Click on the x symbol next to the folder that it found
    4. This should stop Photos App from bringing over images

    To delete images by date:

Let me know how it goes. Have a great day!
