Muvee Reveal Encore 2018 incompatible Windows 10

I just bought the software 5 days ago and once I open the programme, this message of "Exception error ocurred"  details: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" appears. I would be grateful if someone can bring me some info about or help me fix this problem. Thank you in advance.

    You will not get this resolved.

    Muvee Technologies Inc. is aware of this problem with Windows 10.

    Although Win 10 was first released in 2015 (over 5 years ago) Muvee has failed to keep their software up to date with Windows updates, as all responsible software developers do.

    You have few options.

    1.  Tech support is unresponsive and if you DO get a response they will blame it in Windows.

    2.  If you recently purchased, contact your credit card provider and dispute the charge.

    3.  If it's an older purchase write MTI with all information and demand a refund. (you will not get one)

    4.  Send a copy of your request and their refusal to you state Attorney Generals office.

    5.  Send a copy of your request and their refusal to the California Attorney Generals office.

    5.  Send a copy of your request and their refusal to the Better Business Bureau.

    6.  Post reviews of your experience to social media and all sites that are reviewing and promoting Muvee.

    7.  keep and document all records.

    8.  Find a better software for your needs

    At the end of the day, Muvee Technologies is an incompetent software developer that is essentially selling a product they KNOW will not work.

    They *should* be hit with a class action lawsuit.

    In other words, sorry about your luck, suckers.

    I've had nothing but problems out of Windows 10 and muvee not playing nice together. To me, muvee needs to get off their asses and fix this. They're the effn engineers, for crying out loud. You build your **** around Microsoft, they don't build it around you. But I'll never by another muvee product again. I've supported them for many years, and now I feel abandoned.

    Exactly the same issue here on Windows 10 with just a purchased and installed muvee Reveal Encore  2018 Business edition with TONS of styles! What is going on? Muvee is not being responsive with support. Anyone have the same issue? Anyone have a solution? Thanks!

    This is the issue. Got this from muvee support.

    "Hi,

    Thank you for your patience—apologies for the delay. The recent Windows 10 updates caused the issue; we can only wait for Microsoft to provide a new update to resolve the issue. The engineering will need some time to look into this issue.

    We do not recommend the user remove or turn off .Net Framework 4.8 from the system as the component may be required to run other applications or services.

    We will keep this conversation open to reach out to you as soon as we have an update or a fix. In the meantime, you can use the software without being connected to the internet before, and at all times you're using it. If you need to get more music, we recommend browsing or searching for royalty-free music within specialized websites.

    I agree with you about Muvee is not being responsive with any support. I have reported the problem several times and I have not got any answer or help to say the least.
