I can't sign out in my laptop

I made a Microsoft account on my laptop the other day and it is now connected in my laptop. It is the account that I can see in the settings and whenever I open my laptop. I tried signing out through the start button and right-clicking my account but it doesn't work. It takes me to a blue screen that says signing out though but after that, the account is still there. Any tips?

Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

You would first need to setup another user account on you PC to remove that account that you have setup. You can do this from Settings > Accounts.

Once you login to the new account you can then remove the old one.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

To be precise, can you tell us, if you're facing this issue while signing out from your Microsoft account, or from the laptop?
