Why do I have over 6000 CryptnetUrlCache folders on my computer. I try to delete and/or sherd them but they keep coming back. They use a lot of space.

I have widows 10 on a HP computer.

Thanks

    Hi Liebchen

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

CryptnetUrlCache folders are actually part of the Internet Cache, they are created when you visit a website, then the next time you visit that website, the resources in that folder are loaded in the browser, and only the changes to the web page since you last visited the page are downloaded from the Internet, that makes it seem like the web page is loading faster

If you want to delete all of those, then clear out your web browser cache, however, as soon as you start using the browser again, then it will begin creating a new cache

I tried what you said but I still have over 6000 CryptnetUrlCache folders . They must take up a lot of space.

    Thanks

    I'll give it a shot but, I don't think I go to 6000 websites in a week.

    Hi liebchen

Yes, if that is the web browser you use, then clear the Internet Cache on that . . .
