Hi,
Thanks for these information.
I will search for Insydeflash and try to remove the withelist.
In case it does not work, I will use the wifi in B/G mode as suggested.
Thanks again for your help.

Hello,
I own a HP Pavilion DV9500 Laptop with an Intel Wireless Wifi Link 4965AGN.
I can connect to my internet access point only in 802.11G mode. Indead, if I activate the N mode I often get a BSOD. Apperantly, the N mode for this adaptor is not compatible with Windows 10.
Hence, I would like to know which Wifi Adaptor could replace the Intel Wireless Wifi Link 4965AGN.
Any suggestion would be welkomed.
Thanks

Hi,

The program called Insydeflash is difficult to find safely to download.
I hope that these solutions above will solve your problem!
Hi,
As far as we know, HP does not publish BIOS whitelist information.
In the past, they were able to use a program called Insydeflash that helped remove Whitelist. (I have no sources to tell you where to find the Download Program safely).
What you can try is to go to the advanced network adapter settings in the device manager and set the wireless mode to b / g only.
See how to do this post:

(Screen similar to this publication but in Configuration: 802.11 b | g | n Wireless Mode).

Or you will need to use a dual band USB wi-fi adapter.
Hi Jediael,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Unfortunately, your suggestion could not help me. Indeed, the driver is not compatible with very old wifi adapters as mine is.
In the meantime, I learned from HP that the wifi adapter is withelisted in the laptop's Bios. Hence, I am not allowed to replace it with a more recent one.
Do you know an other alternative solution to make my card work properly?
or
Do you know a way to override the whitelist?
