Hey

My computer recently crashed, and it won’t load up windows anymore. It’s stuck on the motherboard logo, and keeps running the «circle» animation.

therefore I downloaded windows 10 on a usb using microsoft media creation tool, following the tutorial provided on this site.

My motherboard is: MSI b85m-e45

When I start up the computer I can press the F11 key too select the usb as boot device (UEFI: ....) however after this it just display a blue screen?

if i change the usb at top priorty in the bios and restart it display window image for a few seconds loading and then turns into a blue screen?

I’ve been looking into tutorials and bios settings but I can’t find anything that works for me. Any thoughts?

First I created the bootable usb using MediaCreationTool, and now I attempted using rufus. Still the same results.

It displays the motherboard logo, then the screen become blue. When I try to start the computer withouth the bootable usb it just keep loading on the motherboard logo. Is this maybe a hardware issue then?

Unfortunately this also gave me the same result. I’m honestly starting to doubt my hardware?

Thanks for reply, after reading thru those links I see its the same attempts I have tried and not really the same issues I have.

I can’t access windows safemode features as the motherboard dont allow me to access windows.

Actually the «crashing» part is a bit misleading. While using the computer it started freezing for 5 seconds every 15 second ish and would not turn off. Therefore I force turned it off, and when I turnt it on again it got stuck on the motherboard logo «loop»

I’m not sure whats causing the issue, any thoughs? I’ve tried reinstalling windows 10 twice on the USB.

how did you created usb bootable windows pendrive.

use your friends computer, use Rufus software, choose iso file with uefi mode enable, create bootable drive.

. insert that pendrive, set uefi mode in bios, save and exit, install windows.
