WHY IS WINDOWS 7 OFFICIALLY DEAD? IS THERE ANY MAJOR OR COMPLICATED REASON? WELL, I DON'T THINK SO AT ALL. ALTHOUGH I AM ONE OF THE BIGGEST FANS OF WINDOWS 10, I THINK THAT IT WAS REALLY  UNFAIR THAT MICROSOFT MADE IT OFFICIALLY DEAD. I HAVE BEEN USING WINDOWS 7 FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS, AND IT'S COMPLETELY AMAZING. STARTING FROM THE LOOKS TO THE PERFORMANCES, I FOUND NO ISSUES, AND IT EVENTUALLY TURNED OUT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST SELLING OPERATING SYSTEMS EVER. SO, ONLY BECAUSE IT TURNED OUT TO BE A BIT OLD, IT WAS MADE OFFICIALLY DEAD! THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST DECISIONS MADE BY MICROSOFT. ALTHOUGH  WINDOWS 10 IS NO DOUBT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL AND IT HAS AMAZING FEATURES AND PERFORMANCES, BUT STILL LOTS OF PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT DIFFERENT PROBLEMS AND BUGS, THEREFORE STILL NOT MAKING IT THE BEST WINDOWS OS, AND WINDOWS 8 WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE.  SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS DECISION OF MICROSOFT ? WAS IT RIGHT OR WRONG? PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW.

                                                                                                          THANK YOU

I will not respond normally to an all caps question.....

Windows 7 is not dead.  It works just fine.  Microsoft no longer provides updates to it, and that includes security updates.  Consequently, there is a heightened risk.  If a virus comes along that takes advantage of a feature in Windows 7 which allows it and that feature became known AFTER the end of these updates (Jan 14, 2020), then your computer may be infected.

However, if you are conservative about how you use the Internet and use a top-notch antivirus program, you can minimize that risk.  I would not recommend this to any enterprise installation, but for the typical home user, it may be worth keeping a Windows 7 system working for a while longer.  Especially if cash is short and your physical hardware works just fine.

In time, the suppliers that provide software for Windows 7, will discontinue that service and then you will no longer find Windows 7 useful.

No further response will be given to all caps messages

Very sorry to hear that, but my keyboard is alright. Actually, the reason is that I like typing in caps, but I will make sure not to repeat this. Well, why not talk about the main topic?

I suggest that you get your keyboard fixed as you are posting in all capitals and we have to try and read that.

    Thanks for your reply!

Very sorry to write in all Caps, but is there any such rule not to type in all caps? I am just asking frankly.
