HP LaserJet Pro M12w reports fixed "Attention Required".

HP LaserJet Pro M12w reports fixed "Attention Required".   This printer is installed on Windows 10 and is connected in Wi-Fi with the home network router. Report fixed "Attention required" and does not start printing. You can only print by running the troubleshooter, but in some cases not found it doesn't even start with that intervention. Perform all possible HP online support procedures that have not led to any useful results by failing to identify what causes the message to appear. I thought of a possible Windows cause since the troubleshooter almost always buzzes to start printing. Where can I look for the solution? Thank you.

Good day! I'm Raniel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your printer. Just to clarify, do you also encounter the issue when printing from your other devices/machines?

Kindly follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Uninstall all printer softwares from your control panel
    2. Press Windows+R on your keyboard and type the command printui /s /t2 and press Enter
    3. Go to the Ports tab and delete the HP printer ports
    4. Reboot your machine, then reinstall by getting the latest printer software and drivers from the printer manufacturer's product support website.
    5. Kindly check as well if your machine is up-to-date with the latest security patches. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

I also suggest that you run through the steps on this article to further troubleshoot the issue: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/401540...

    I hope this helps.

Dearest Raniel, thank you for your suggestions and I give you more information about the problem. I use two computers, both with Windows 10 Pro; I have two printers connected vis Wi-Fi, a Canon PIXMA iP7250 color and an HP LaserJet Pro M12W b/n. On canon there are no problems from either computer; on HP I see the problem I have reported. I would add that until a year ago on one of the two computers running Windows 10 I had Windows XP which was fine and which I had to replace for the technical obsolescences artfully created by the hardware and software manufacturers. With Windows XP, I had no problem with HP from XP or Windows 10. The problem arose when XP was replaced. Thank you again. As soon as possible I will follow your suggestions. Greetings
