windows 10 Explorer left pane missing / control panel no Items visible

Hello,

Windows 10 

  1. Desktop Icons are missing but I am able to see the File / Folder names

2)File Explorer - Left Pane missing but i am able to see blank space 

  1. Control panel - just like a white board

Note - I have got 2 users in my laptop. For one user it is working fine. But for other user it is happening like this. I created a new user but same result.

    I'm Paul, an Independent Advisor and a Windows 10 expert. I hope I can help you with your concern.

    The issue might be caused by a a corrupted system file.

    Please try the following.

    1. Install the latest Windows updates.
    2. Use System File Checker to check and fix corrupted system files which may be the cause of the issue. Please refer to the link.

    1. Use System Restore to restore your Windows to the point before the issue persists.

    Open Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection > System Restore then follow screen instructions.

    1. Try to perform a Repair Upgrade.
