To the Developer Team of Microsoft.

I was using Pashto (Afghanistan) Language in Windows XP, 8 and 10 but now I have bought a new PC in 2021

where I want to add Pashto Afghanistan Keyboard Layout but it is not showing in the language list.

There is only Pashto ( Pakistan) which has a diffrent keyboad layout.

Pashto is the Official Language of Afghanistan but not official language of Pakistan.

so please add Pashto Afghanistan  in Keyboard layout.

Thank you

    Hello FathullahNaimzai,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today. I understand you have a problem with Pashto Afghanistan Keyboard Layout is not showing in the language list.

Please try the method below if it helps.

Press Start then click Settings(Gear icon) > Time and Language > Language

First you need to add Pashto (Pakistan) under Preferred Languages

    After that, select Pashto (Pakistan)

    Select "Options"

Under Keyboards > Add a keyboard

    Select Pashto (Afghanistan)

Select Arabic then click remove if you want

Kindly check and test your Pashto (Afghanistan) keyboard layout

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Sincerely,

    John DeV

We know how to use Pashto Afghanistan Keyboard, you dint get his question

his question is that Pashto is the official language of Afghanistan, THEN WHY ITS LISTED ON THE NAME OF PASHTO PAKISTAN IN WINDOWS 10 RECENT UPDATE.

it was Pashto Afghanistan before and it should stay the same, Microsoft changed this name in their recent windows 10 updates it was NOT like this before
