I did try these before and ran them again. No problems were detected or fixed.
My unzipped file is empty after extract all Using explorer to unzip files.
The progress bar shows it is unzipping but the target folder is always empty. I have used windows file explorer before successfully.
OPEN WITH is set to Windows File Explorer.
I can't figure out what is happening. Have run windows diagnostics SFC scanand DISM scan.
What are other options are there to get file explorer to unzip?

We will try to detect if the problem is with the file in question!
Do you have the same problem with any compressed files?
Do any antivirus messages appear when you unpack? Sometimes Windows automatically deletes threats, but it displays a warning on the screen!
- Try another unpacking tool.
Try to extract the file with another compression tool. For example:
https://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=0

2021-01-11T20:23:02+00:00 Hi. Sorry I have not been keeping up. I'm 100% sure file names are valid. I had read an article previously on valid file names. And most of the zipped files worked in the past. in one case, I created the zip file to send and now I can't unzip it either.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have the problem with any compressed file. I don't see any warnings. Just a message "this folder is empty" in the destination file.
I have considered using a third party unpacking tool such as Win-rar. I thought I would post my question in the hopes of fixing windows file explorer. My guess it is corrupted for some reason with the hope it is easily fixable.
I just used Win-RAR and am able to unpack my .Zip folders.
Thank You ...
