Emails to France

Im sending email to my friend who is using hotmail but he says he s not receiving them .any idea what the problem is? Im using gmail and as far as i know there shouldnt be any issues with that

    Yes i have confirmed email address,he is using hotmail platform, i tried sending 2 emails so far but he isnt receiving them .Not sure why that is since ive been able to use email with other european coutnries .this is a first

    1. We don't work for Microsoft.
    2. Are you using the correct address to send to?
    3. Is he receiving other persons' emails?
    4. Did you ask Google and Gmail is their product?

    Have you tried having him send you an email? 

    Do you get any kind of failure notice? If it can't be delivered, you'd usually get some kind of emailed message with information why.

    Has he checked his spam folder?
