    Hello AMat1,

Most likely this is a Python Script Launcher and shouldn't harm your device.

If you recently installed Python, that is why it is there. if you didn't, then I would recommend deleting it. or scanning the .EXE file with a AV software (E.G. Kasperkey, Windows defender,)

If you don't have a AV installed, here are some I recommend:

    Kapserskey Total Security

It isn't free but if you are willing to pay for it here's a link: kasperkey.com

(I don't know the full link)

Or you can use malwarebytes : https://malwarebytes.com (its free)

    Hope this helped,

    Aiden

    Hi AMat1

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

There are so many legitimate reasons why the Python.exe file would be on your PC, that is usually just a Python Script Launcher and may have been installed by other software you installed on your PC and may be required for functionality of that software . . .

Where exactly is that file located on your PC?
