Bluetooth wireless earphones keep disconnecting

I have just bought some JAM Bluetooth wireless earphones and they keep disconnecting every 15 minutes whenever I'm on Zoom or Teams calls on Windows. I've gone through audio settings to make sure everything is in order there and tried the basic troubleshooting such as disconnecting and reconnecting, deleting and reloading the drivers etc, but I still have the same issue. After some digging around online, I found that some people are sorting this issue out by going into 'Human Interface Devices' in 'Device Manager' and switching off 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' in 'Power Management', but the earphones don't show up at all in 'Human Interface Devices' and when I access the earphones through the Bluetooth section in 'Device Manager', 'Power Management' doesn't show up at all. Does anyone know how to fix this, or at least, a different way to prevent my earphones switching off?

    Hi Jack.

I've tried this and it hasn't worked. I have a laptop, not a desktop, so I assume to cut the power in the way you suggest I would need to take out the battery? It's not a removable on unfortunately

Here's what worked for me when I had a similar situation and nothing else worked:

    1. Turn off your computer. (Don't reboot it.)
    2. Unplug your computer from its power supply, i.e., from the wall.
    3. Wait 15-30 minutes.
    4. Plug your computer back in to the power supply. Restart.
    5. Let us know if this works.

    Thanks, Jack

    Hi Carlo.

I have had a look for the drivers but there are no old ones to install. Please note I have only just bought these earphones.

My issue isn't getting them connected to my laptop. They automatically switch off after 15 minutes so I need to turn off the function that allows my PC to turn off my earphones to save power. You do this by going into 'Human Interface Devices', but my earphones aren't listed there. How can I get round this?

My PC is an Acer Aspire A515-55G
