Follow the steps to resolve the issue:
> Press "WIN + R" simultaneously to open the "Run" window
> Type "control userpasswords2", without quotes, and click "OK"
> The "User Accounts" window will open
> In the "Users of this computer:" list, click on the user who wants to change the password
> At the bottom of the window, click on "Reset Password ..."
> In the "Reset Password" window, enter and confirm the new password, and then click "OK".
> Click "Apply" and "OK".
