Bruno, I'm not sure if you're AI or a person, but the obvious issue is WHY WU is offering a Driver dated 1968, which is totally Illogical. - AND - That I can't stop its being offered after Hiding it Many Times.

I don't think there is answer here and I'll pursue other sources.

I mentioned use of -- wushowhide -- already and THAT is part of your solution.

    Thanks for the Reply...............

Hello CraigS0726, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Bruno Leonel, an independent consultant and I would be happy to help you.

I understand that you want to stop updating the driver.

For cases like this, Microsoft itself offers a free tool that temporarily prevents the driver from being updated. So you can expect a corrected version to be made available and then install it.

You must download the tool from this Microsoft page. The software name is wushowhide.diagcab. As soon as you run it, click Next.

Note that the tool will scan for drivers. When this process is finished, click Hide updates. On the next screen, select the driver you want not to be updated and click Next. That driver will then be configured to not be updated.
