Magnifier options while using multiple monitors

I have my laptop in my living room here with a long HDMI cord going to the tv so if, for example, someone else living here wants to watch something on Netflix or another streaming site (i don't have a smart tv) they can while i watch what i want on my laptop screen with headphones on and i use an app called CheVolume to separate the audio streams. However i have an eye condition which means i have to use the magnifier to see anything on the screen at all... which if you do whilst doing what i just said, as i'm sure everyone knows, will cause my screen to overlap on to the tv. Is there anyway i can still use Extend but not have the screen overlap to the tv if i use the magnifier?

<Original Title: Is there a way to not have one screen go over to the other when set to extend and using the magnifyer>

    Hi Cyrax2988,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

While using multiple monitors in Extended mode, the apps can be moved to other monitors. Based on your description on using Magnifier, one of the workarounds you can perform is to use Docked View or Lens View options in Magnifier.

    To do this, Open Magnifier,

    • To use the docked view, press CtrlAltD.
    • To use the lens view, press CtrlAltL.

For more features on Magnifier, you may refer Using Magnifier on Windows 10

This seems to be a good feature suggestion. I would suggest you to make use of the Feedback Hub, where you can send suggestions and ideas to help us improve your Windows experience.

Thanks, this helped alot. Lens view still overlaps if you go too close to the edge, docked plus using screen-mirroring on my phone i found was a great solution :)

    Hi Cyrax2988,

Thank you for replying and I am glad to know that the suggestions helped.

And yes, as you mentioned, screen casting from phone is also one of the options.
