DVD/CDROM drive not working Toshiba Laptop Windows 10

since updating Toshiba Satellite L850 laptop to Win10 the DVD/CD will not work

    Try disabling the Toshiba Optical Disk Drive Service and then remove and reinstall the optical drive.

    Windows Key + R > type services.msc in the "Open" box > OK

    In the right window scroll down to the "TOSHIBA Optical Disk Drive Service" and double-click the "TOSHIBA Optical Disk Drive Service" and then set the "Startup type" to "Disabled" > OK

    Restart the computer.

    Then open the Device Manager and right-click the DVD drive > Uninstall device and then uninstall the device.

    Restart the computer and let Windows re-detect and reinstall the drive

    You can leave the "TOSHIBA Optical Disk Drive Service" disabled as it is not a required service.

    Can you check the following:

    Windows Key + R > type services.msc in the "Open" box > OK

    In the right window scroll down the list of services.

    Is there a "TOSHIBA Optical Disk Drive Service" ?

    Yes, the Toshiba Optical Disc Drive Service has status Running, startup Automatic. I have trued stopping and restarting the service but the problem remains.

    When I put a disc in I can here the drive spin up but after maybe 15 seconds it stops
