I have been using my midframe headphones for around 3 months or so and then suddenly as soon as i on my PC the midframes RGB lights didnt turn on and then I tried playing a video and no sound and finally I checked my devices setting and all of a sudden it is listed under unspecified instead of under audio.

i have also checked my omen command centre/gaming hub but it says "complete your omen setup by checking out Omen.com for the latest gear" but I have it connected it on my pc?

what I did was search on HP's customer support website under device and managers and search for the drivers for my mindframe that way but it doesn't provide me with any, am i doing it wrong? as i don't see an omen app other then the command centre and I don't see any driver options listed there.

I recommend drivers from the manufacturer. Searching for a new driver within Windows won't necissarily search the vendor of the product, just Windows own library of drivers. Did you do it in the Omen app or from Windows?

Im thinking its a driver issue because it wont see the device for what it is, it only knows something is there. Happy its working at this point. Any vendor provided drivers should get it showing up properly

Hello there, yes the first think that i did was search for updates and tried troubleshooting, and when I search online for midframe drivers it have me an messaging reading "we are unable to find drivers for your product."

I also tried to delete the devices from devices manager and try to re install it but it does not give me an option when I replug my headphones back in, only comes up as an "unspecified" in my settings

I don't know if its broken or not but it still gives an input into my pc but wont recognise as an audio device.

Hello, I am Andrew an independent advisor. I'd like to help you today.

If your headphones previously worked just fine and suddenly stopped its possible a driver change is the culprit. Check with the Omen software for an update, either to the software or the devices drivers. If nothing found through the software please check the website support centre for new drivers.

    Kind regards,

    Andrew
