My printer (HP 2549)

Is there anyway that i can connect my printer. 

When I try to add my printer, a message states that my drivers are not available.

Is this because my printer is too old?

Can you advise?

    HP has the Windows 7 drivers for your printer:

    Uninstall then reinstall your Printer using the correct Drivers and setup information at this HP website.

    And there aretroubleshooting steps for it there too.
