I forgot to attached the images. Here it is
No Audio Output Device is installed.
I have no volume on my PC and I have a little red cross next to my speaker icon that says "No Audio Output Device is installed." When I click on it and run the troubleshooter it shows me the report as the images. I updates my driver today (February 01, 2021)
I have tried many things to solve the problem such as:
- Unistall the volume driver in Device manager and restart
- Update Window, and update every volume driver again
- Trobleshoot the problem
- Add legacy hardware
But none of that working. Please help me. Thank you

2021-02-02T03:49:13+00:00 Hi Hong,
I'm Benedict, an Independent Advisor. I'm here to help you.
Kindly try updating your audio output driver with Generic device:
- Open Start Menu.
- Type Device Manager and Open it.
- Double-Click on the category "Audio inputs and outputs".
- Right click on your audio output driver and select "Update Driver".
- Next select "Browse my computer for drivers"
- Click on "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer".
- Make sure the option "Show compatible hardware" is checked.
- Select Generic device and click Next.
If that doesn't help, try checking your audio output devices in Sounds > Playback, or to do this:
- Right-click on Speaker icon in the right-side of your taskbar and select Sounds.
- Click Playback tab and see if speaker device is listed there.
- If not, right-click and make sure the option "Show Disabled devices" is checked.
- If the said device is now visible, right-click on it and select Enable.
- To make it default, right-click on it again and select Set as Default device.
If that doesn't still help, try searching for latest audio controllers/drivers from your PC's manufacturer support website. Download and install them, if any.
If the issue still persist, try to check if the audio controller is disabled in BIOS > Advanced > Onboard/Device Configuration. If so, enable it. And If you need assistance on how to boot your PC into the BIOS please follow these steps:
- Restart your PC.
- Once the brand/OEM vendor's logo appears, press the keys Esc, F2, and Del simultaneously until the BIOS display shows up.
- Look for the audio controller or any related to sound options in the Advanced BIOS settings > Onboard/Device configuration and see if audio controller is disabled. If so, try enabling it, then click the button Exit and Save changes.
Please see if that helps.
Regards,
Benedict P.
