Windows 10 Version 1809 - End of Support - ISO File Download from VLSC

Hi,

I searched from Microsoft lifecycle website and found that  Windows 10 version 1809 is already End of Support as of November 2020. My customer is using the Windows Update to do upgrade. However, the customer also want to upgrade via ISO file download from VLSC and could not find the updated file (The ISO file available in VLSC is still version 1809).

Why can't they download the updated version of Windows 10? And besides Windows Update, is there any other way to get the upgrade?

    The latest LTSC enterprise is version 1809. Is your customer on LTSC channel?

    LTSC is long term servicing channel, which is supported for more years compared to a public channel, which is 1.5 years from the initial release.

    Hi Sumit,

    But currently, they can do the update via Windows Update for the installed Win10 in user devices. Do they still have to download the version 1809 and then do the update manually for Win10 installed in new devices?

    Thanks for the additional info. There is no LTSC release after 1809. It would be maybe, later this year. So the user is technically up to date.

    Hi Sumit,

    I think the customer is on LTSC channel. If so, can they still download the newest version of Win10 from VLSC?
