Cannot cast from laptop in WIndows 10 to my chromecast on tv.

All threads seem to be locked.  New to WIndows 10 and I see no icon, no option to cast to my chromecast on tv from my laptop?  Thankful that I have wireless and using no data.  I was apple to use an app on android and cast to tv from a url, but cannot do it from my windows10 dell laptop :(   No tech savy, but can follow step by step instructions.  Thank you

    Thank you very much, I actually had forgotten when I had to move to windows 10 that Mozilla  wasn't compatible with chromecast.  Thank you very much.

    To cast from your laptop, to your Chromecast you have to use Edge or Chrome browsers> To help you better and guide you step-by-step, what are you trying to cast? (Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video, Local Files, etc.)

    I see, I use firefox too but it can't use the Chromecast cast function, if you don't like Edge, you can use Chrome instead.

    I guess I could use Edge vs the Mozilla .  But would never change to Edge other than something I wanted to cast.  I have a Netflix account, but haven't used it since the new Androidd.  I will cast again from You tube someday.  Other than that I do have an app I used today that worked Cast Controller, but it would only work from my phone not the laptop.
