    Hi E.Gar83

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

That file you have downloaded is a zip file, you cannot open that with Acrobat

    Close all open Applications

Double click the zip file, you will be prompted to extract the contents of that file, choose a location, or by default, it will extract into the same folder the zip file is in

When you extract that zip file, you should then see the TTF file(s)

Right click each ttf file and choose Install

When you have installed all fonts, restart (not shut down) your PC

Those newly installed fonts should then appear in the fonts menu of your installed applications . . .

I was able to uninstall and just download using file explorer. Then I followed your instruction to install the fonts.

Thanks for your help! Much appreciated.

    Hi E.Gar83

You should be able to uninstall File View form Settings - Apps . . .

Were you able to extract out the ttf files from that zip file?

If not, right click a zip file, please provide a screenshot of the resulting menu, the file association on zip files may be corrupt, I need to see that menu, to provide you with a solution . . .

    Thanks for the information DaveM121.

When I download from Google Fonts it would automatically use Acrobat. I tried but couldn't figure out how to change the default so that zip files wouldn't open with Acrobat.

I ended up just downloading and installing File Viewer as a work around, but I'm sure that wasn't necessary - I don't know anything about computers.

I would like to be able to uninstall File View if possible and use whatever the default application is "Fontview.exe"?

    Cheers
