How to fix BSOD and error code 0xc0000001 loop when booting Windows 10

So this started when I was trying to fix drivers from Windows 10. I clicked the fix button but when it restarts, the BSOD icon showed up. I tried to make the computer enter safe mode but it persists. I also tried to find a solution online but no help. The only way to solve is to insert recovery media (I’m not going to do that). Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Andre

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues while booting the PC. I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue by performing certain troubleshooting steps.

Since you’re unable to boot the PC in Safe Mode, we have only one option left that is to  try performing a Startup Repair on your PC and see if you are able to boot into desktop.

  1. Create a bootable media and boot the PC using the media.
  2. On the Install Windows screen, select Next > Repair your computer.
  3. On the System Recovery Options screen, select TroubleshootAdvanced options > Startup Repair.
  4. Restart the PC.

You can also try fixing the BOOT files manually and see if the PC boots fine.

  1. Create a bootable media and boot the PC using the media.
  2. On the Install Windows screen, select Next > Repair your computer.
  3. On the System Recovery Options screen, select TroubleshootAdvanced options > Command Prompt.
  4. Now type in the commands and hit enter: BOOTREC /FIXMBRBOOTREC /FIXBOOT
    BOOTREC /scanos
    BOOTREC /rebuildbcd
  5. Restart the PC.

Let us know how it goes.
