Touch Screen Driver

My touch screen laptop (runs Windows 10) has recently lost it's touch screen driver.

I have noticed that recently my touch screen no longer works. I followed a walkthrough to troubleshoot the problem and the guide said to uninstall and reinstall the touch screen driver. However, when I went to Device Manager, there is no Touch Screen driver listed. How do I replace this and recallibrate?

    Thanks. This is very frustrating. I'm finding numerous help threads with this same problem and no one ever posts a solution that works. Nothing I find solves this problem.

    What make and model is the laptop, do the manufacturers supply a touchscreen driver.

    What is the Windows 10 version and build, type winver in Search and select the top result. Post back the details.

    Check your version of Windows:

    > Press "WIN + R", type "winver" and click "OK".

    > The version will be on the second line.

    Check Windows Update for pending updates and do it!

    > Open Windows settings

    > Click on "Update and Security"

    > Click on "Check for updates"

    I have completed all the updates, both for Windows and Dell. I am now at Version 20h2 OS Build 19042.746.

    After the Windows update, the Touch Screen driver is completely gone, not even under hidden devices. And, there was nothing under it before.
