I set up my computer with a 4 digit pin.  2 weeks ago,  a pop up said I needed to change my pin to 6 digits.  How can I rest my pin to 4 digits?

The pin option says the 4 digit pin "does not meet complexity requirements" or something like that. I never established any requirements for the complexity for my pin. How do I over-ride or correct that issue? Thanks

Modify your PIN by following these steps.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/res...

    1. Open Settings (Gear) >> Accounts >> Sign-in options.
    2. Click the Change button under PIN.
    3. Enter your current PIN >> then, enter and confirm the new PIN underneath >> Tap I forgot my PIN >> Follow the instructions

    Hello Dan,

If you are joined to a school or work domain, this could be a policy they set to be enforced. There's nothing you can do in this case.

If this is a home computer, then you can check using the tutorial below to see if a minimum PIN length has been set on your computer. If so, you can either change it to a min you want, or set the policy back to unconfigured for the default 4 digits.
