I am trying to download a game I know is safe but I'm being "protected" by my antivirus. None of the articles I have read so far have been helpful.

    Good Day MarkBarrett9,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

What is the anti virus you are using is it the Windows Defender or a third-party anti -virus?

Is there any error message or error code when you try to download the game?

If you are using Windows Defender or Windows Security, here's the steps you can try to temporarily disable it.

-Click Start, type Windows Security and open the app.

    -Click on Home Tab

-Click on Firewall and Network Protection and Turn it off

-Once done Click on Virus and Threat Protection

    -Click on Manage Settings

-Turn Off the Real Time Protection

Once they are turn off you can try to download the game you are trying to install.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

What anti virus are you using? Is it windows defender? If it is, go into Virus and threat protection settings and disable real time protection and any other settings that may not help.

    regards Jack
