    Hello Alex_ldp,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today. When was the last time it worked properly? What is your current windows version and edition? Press Start then click Settings(Gear icon), select System then About.

Please let me know if you have tried the methods below.

    1. Make sure to toggle on "Enable Xbox Game bar for things like recording game clips, chatting with friends, and receiving game invites."
    2. Update Xbox Game Bar app

Open Microsoft Store then Click 3 dots

    Select Download and Updates >

Update Xbox Game Bar or click Get Updates

    1. Repair Xbox Game Bar

Go to Settings and selecting "Apps and Features". Find "Xbox Game Bar" in the Apps & features list and select it. The "Advanced options" button should appear - click it. You will see the "Repair" button. If it doesn't work, Kindly click the Reset.

    1. Uninstall Xbox Game Bar

    Press Windows key + X

Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator

Copy paste the command below then press Enter

    get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage

Proceed to reinstall Xbox Game Bar

    1. Go to Microsoft Store then Download again Xbox Game Bar

or copy paste the command below then press Enter

    Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Restart your PC

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Sincerely

    John DeV

Open Game Bar(search it from the windows Search in taskbar or open it through Start Menu) and go to its settings by clicking the cog button (). Now click on Shortcuts tab and see if the keyboard shortcuts were changed. If yes, change them back to normal by clicking Reset in the bottom of the settings window.

Hello, sry for late answer im a bit bussy.

yes, i've done all that already. anyway i've just done it again to be sure and it's still not working.

also i have tried  to change the key combination command to check if the keyboard was the problem but nither works.

a few days ago i switched the temp and TMP directory from hard drive D: to C: (where it should be originally).

then when i restarted the PC it showed up an error that said there was an incorrect parameter in windows files.

    specifically in win32 bridge.server.exe

i tried some commands to detect and fix corrupted windows' files and then restarted again. didnt show me the error anymore.

maybe the game bar problem has something to do with that cuz is the only change i made since last time i could use game bar (last week)

is there any way to restore Temp and TMP directory to serial location and parameters in case i did it wrong?

    i followed this guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/285710/how-to-move-windows-temporary-folders-to-another-drive/
