Here's the steps you can try.
-Press Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Human Interface Device or Mice and other pointing device
-Look for the HID Touchpad driver that was installed
-Right click and Uninstall
After restart the driver will be automatically installed.
Once done enable touchpad in the setting.
In the Search box, type Touchpad.
Touch or click Mouse & touchpad settings (System settings).
Look for a Touchpad On/Off toggle. When there is a Touchpad On/Off toggle option: Touch or click the Touchpad On/Off toggle to turn the touchpad on or off.
Restart your computer and check if the touchpad works.
If issue persist, let's download the updated driver from the manufacturers website.
What is the exact model of your computer?
To check the system model proceed with these steps.
-Press Windows key + R
-Type msinfo32 and hit enter.
-Look for the system model and provide it here.
