Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 installation error

Hi,

I've recently purchased the premium deluxe version of the game on CD version and I'm trying to install it to a brand new computer. The problem is that once the installation of DVD2 finishes, it asks to insert 'disk 3 that contains the file data4.cab'. Once DVD3 is inserted, the installation claims 'transfer error' because of that file, and writes that 'The wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert %2 (Volume Serial Number %3) into drive %1.

Just to be on the safe side, we tried to insert all CDS in case they were numbered wrongly, but it did not help. What can I do?

    The disc version of MSFS 2020 is supported by Aerosoft. In your case, you might have a faulty disc. Therefore, please contact their customer service for help in obtaining a replacement.

    Alternative, there should also be a download key that came with the boxed version which can be used to download MSFS 2020 from Microsoft Store. So you won't need to install from the disc. https://helpdesk.aerosoft.com/portal/kb/article...
