Hello, lately I've been trying to update my Windows 10 1909 to 20H2 version, a lot, but everytime it gets stuck in Working on updates 48%, until I have to restart my laptop and it reverts back to the previous Window version. I've tried all the below mentioned troubleshooting tips:

  1. I've tried fixing the error by using the Windows update troubleshooter, but it was no good.
  2. I've tried using sfc /scannow in cmd, to repair any drivers, but it too was of no good.
  3. I've also tried installing the update from both Windows 10 Update Assistant and Media Creation Tool and I've also tried to do a clean install by downloading the Windows 10 20H2 ISO file, none of them worked.

I've run out of options now, what more needs to be done in order to install the update?

**Edit:**My laptop is an Asus Zenbook Pro Duo UX581G

Ok, I've finally found the solution. All I had to do was disable everything in the Task manager's startup (including the antivirus) and do a clean boot. After that, I installed the update from the Windows 10 20H2 iso file, and voila it worked!!

I think the antivirus or some other software from the startup was conflicting with the updates.
